Path to the House (part 1)
Due to the sensitivity of the topic I cannot go into the details or write about the Bruce Gordon resignation but I will in due time. I promise! More facts have to come out for me to touch such a subject!
Hello dear readers. I was having quite the dilemma this month, I didn’t know exactly what topic to chose to write about, and with so much going on in the world today where do I start?
There is Pres. Bush verses Hugo Chavez (President of Venezuela) and Barak Obama coming to my native hometown of Oakland, CA this weekend. There is this wild story (with the video to prove it) of Mrs. Hilary Clinton speaking to a church congregation in Selma Alabama. During her speech, she felt she had to use “Ebonics” to speak to her listeners, which to me is a slap in the face. Hey, I am just one person I would like to see what you the readers have to say regarding this issue. On the other hand, closer to home, there is an ongoing investigation about the number of deaths in the Santa Clara County jails that have sparked a lot of controversy, public backlash and now severe repercussions within the whole Santa Clara County Justice System which seems supremely flawed and deeply corrupt. There is also this issue of me making some people mad last month with yet another column but who cares right? As long as G-Dubya runs this country I can say what I want unless I am speaking to Osama Bin Laden (who by the way is the worlds most feared man) then I might have to sensor my words because with 25 million on his head no one seems poised to rat him out! I know some brothers who for 25 dollars would slap the President and say it’s worth the risk!
Okay enough with the barbs at The President or in his words “The Decider”, let’s talk about our new friend Hillary “Rodman” Clinton (and yes I called her Rodman like the crazy basketball player). So who side is she on anyway? With Barack Obama poised to take the minority vote and her looking too take those same votes the electorate will be split down the middle paving the way for Republicans to use that against the Democrats in what will be a highly contested fight for the White House. The Republicans will find anyway possible to stay in power in some capacity whether it’s running the House or running the Senate with a game plan of slandering. None of the Republican candidates are strong enough to beat Hillary one-on-one but the funny thing is will America support a female president right now? We know that America won’t nor will they accept a black one! But here are some questions we must ask. Is her husband’s checkered past going to hold her up? I’m just saying if you can’t control your husband how do you run a country? Is she an appeaser? Will she stop at nothing to make sure the public likes her or will she stand on her on two feet and renounce this bogus war we are in and fix strained foreign relations? Will she take on Barack as her Vice President or chose (I am just throwing this name out there) Sen. Edwards who lost when he and John Kerry made their ill-fated run at the White House? Do she and Bill Clinton have the same barber? (Really whose Hilary’s style coordinator?) Will there be any tension between her and Nancy Pelosi? Will they legalize gay marriage and marry each other. Okay maybe not that last one but I can hear the far Right Wingers right now churning up stories, and if I thought about all this stuff you know that Republicans all over the states are doing the same thing.
Take it like this, if you have two really nice houses. One is brand-spanking new (Barack Obama) and the other, your kids grew up in and have history (Hilary Clinton), which house do you chose to live in, or in our case, live with? I guess she has a little more experience than Barack but not the charisma. She has plenty of resources, a great strategist who will calculate her every move and plan her every word. If you want my opinion, as long as Jeb Bush doesn’t win I am fine with it. I personally could not stand another term with a Bush in office and the country could not survive something so horrid to like that to happen. So is my declaration of Hilary correct? Is she crazy like the aforementioned Dennis Rodman? No, but she is crazy, crazy like and old sly fox and remember her husband is the slyest of the old foxes, and I am sure she has a few tricks up her sleeve!

Until next time dear readers, keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

Anonymous said... Do you know who wrote this letter or is it just something you made up to get more readers!
(Yeah, like I am smart enough to write that letter!)
happy to call for change said... my father just sent me this letter by email tonight. I don’t know if its based in truth or not, but even if its not at least we are addressing it and saying, yes we all need to do better.
I am happy to hear that you started with yourself first Allen rather than calling for others to start.
(Yes, I have to start with myself. If not then how can I expect any one else to change)
